Roles and Their Objectives
Detective: Survive and figure out who the Traitors are and kill them. Everyone knows who the Detectives are, so they can be trusted. For a Detective to communicate privately with other Detectives, they can write in team chat.
Innocent : Survive, figure out who the traitor is, kill them, and avoid arousing suspicion so you don't die.
Traitor: The traitor's goal is to, together with other traitors, kill all the Innocents and Detectives while keeping their identity hidden. For a Traitor to communicate with other Traitors privately, they can write in team chat or use the command /tvoice to toggle speaking over voice-chat.

Key Definitions
- KOS (Kill on Sight) - If someone is KOS they may be killed without repercussion. KOS may be called on anyone committing a traitorous act.
- RDM (Random Death Match) - Killing someone “randomly”; without meeting the proper criteria to kill someone.
- Prop Blocking - Using props to limit the movement of a player, the use of the map, or disrupt gameplay.
- Ghosting / MetaGaming - Sharing information to alive people while dead; any form of info sharing that gives an unfair advantage.
- Camping - Staying in the same area, typically hidden; delaying gameplay
- Grief - Intentionally sabotaging your teammates.
- T-Baiting (Traitor Baiting) - Acting in a way as an Innocent or Detective which may cause another player to believe you are a T.
- Proven - An official term to accurately declare someone’s role
- T-Tester (Traitor Tester) - Some maps have built in testing machines to ID a person’s role called Traitor Testers.
- Minge - Purposely acting like an idiot; ruining the experience for others.

- Argue with staff

>(20 seconds) - Delay the game.
- Change your name mid round, or have an unidentifiable name.
- You may change upon staff direction, in warm up, or after death.
- Staff hold the right to change your name.
- Names must not interfere with TTT core functions (ex. Having “KOS” in your name)
- Throw unidentified bodies away from the playable area.
- Call a KOS off of location, sound, or player model
- May not call a KOS without the person committing a Traitorous act

See Traitorous Acts - May Command players to freeze for scanning. After 2 warnings that are 2 seconds apart, may put a KOS on said player if they do not comply.
- Players must be within line of sight in order for all commands to be valid.
- Warnings DO NOT reset once line of sight is broken
- Detectives can also command players to enter map built T Testers.
- A KOS may be called using the DNA scanner when a Detective scans:
- 2 Innocent Bodies who have the same killer
- 1 Detective Body
- 1 Innocent body who has been killed by a knife or Traitor weapon
- 1 Innocent body that has died within 5 seconds of scanning.
- May not call the first KOS on alive players
- May not grief fellow Traitors without consent
- May not camp any area more than 20 seconds
- May not call the first KOS on a fellow T
- Shooting in the direction of other players, unless in self defense
includes grenades - Damaging / killing Innocents or Detectives. If you do not know the players' role you must let them ID the body of who they killed.
- Blatantly not IDing unidentified bodies.
- Players must give warnings to scan a body prior to KOS.
- Warnings follow the same format as Detective warnings.
- Planting explosive devices.
- Claiming to be the Traitor / self identification
- Maneuvering a prop or map item to block, harm, or kill.
- Being inside or entering T-rooms or areas.
- Opening a T-Room or activating a T-Trap is NOT grounds for KOS.
- Being seen holding a T weapon NOT grounds for KOS.
- Teleporting from T room to known teleport location is grounds for KOS.
- Moving unidentified bodies.
- Causing harm or preventing aid to other players.
- Getting scanned by a taser
- Being the Last Innocent Alive and calling a KOS on the other player.
- Any map based Traitor Tester declaring you as Innocent
- Rely on hard evidence to KOS or Kill someone, do not use common sense / logic.
- Scoreboard and body counting MAY be used to KOS the final Traitor, as Traitors can not call the first KOS on alive Innos.
- Staff may slightly twist rules as long as it elevates the player experience.

- Ex. Allowing the Detective to declare a deputy with extended responsibilities.
- Buying the “ID” item in shop is NOT proven criteria as a T can buy a FakeID as well.
- A player moving C4 around is not a Traitorous Act.
- Holding a T Weapon is not grounds for KOS due to the ability for some T weapons to be dropped and picked up by other players.
- Traitor Baiting is KOSable after 2 warnings.
- Arguing with staff: Players have the right to explain their side of the story when accused of RDM or foul play. However, once a staff member has made the final decision on the matter, refrain from excess back and forth.
- If you feel staff have made an error or are not following rules, making a ticket in the discord is the proper way to handle the situation.
- Clipping gameplay with shadowplay, gamebar, or steam overlay is encouraged and will help your argument.
