I played a fair bit with the poison scout yesterday and, although I love the poison effect, I tended to die really quickly. This may be because I am not very good at the game but I thought I might make some suggestion that would allow players to enjoy the weapon for longer.

The problem is that you get kosed and found very quickly. To prevent I have 2 suggestions:
1. Don't say who poisoned the player.
It says it in chat who poisoned you which allows you to kos them instantly which immediately starts a manhunt on this person and, unless the traitor with the scout has other traitors providing enough distraction, they will get found very quickly.
2. Make the scout firing silent.
Part of the issue is that you can clearly hear the scout firing across the map and figure out what the general direction of this kosed traitor is. Since the poisoned person will be alive for quite a while they tend to make a beeline towards you and will find you before the traitor can hide themselves somewhere.

Obviously either of these changes make the weapon more powerful but that should then come with an appropriate price increase as well.

Lastly I would like to give a shout out to an old CLWO TTT traitor weapon that later disappeared which is the poison knife.
This weapon would be a reusable knife with a cooldown of ~15-20(?) seconds. The knife would poison someone and instead of losing 1 hp per tick your screen would slowly turn red until at some point you just died. Additionally, to prevent the traitor from dying it would not say who poisoned them AND it would render them invisible and teleport them to whereever they were ~10 seconds ago to allow them an escape. The teleport took about 3 seconds which is why the traitor would need to be invisible.
This traitor weapon was a personal favourite of mine so if it could also make a comeback I would be very happy. 😄
