Terms of use

By playing on YappersHQ servers or using this website you agree to these terms and to our rules. Our privacy policy explains what we store.

Playing on our servers

  • Follow the community rules and the rules of the game mode you play.
  • No cheats, exploits, or tools that give you an unfair advantage.
  • Staff may warn, mute, kick or ban players who break the rules. You can appeal a punishment through a ticket on our Discord.
  • The servers are free and run by volunteers. We may change, pause or close any server, game mode or feature at any time.

Your account

You log in with Steam and can connect Discord. Your YappersHQ account is tied to your Steam account, and you are responsible for what is done with it. Do not use another person's account, and do not use a second account to get around a ban.

What you upload

  • Only upload screenshots and clips you made yourself, from our servers.
  • No hateful, sexual or violent real-life content, no other people's personal details, and no copyrighted music or footage you do not have the right to use.
  • Staff review uploads and may reject or remove any of them without giving a reason.
  • When you upload a clip, you allow YappersHQ to publish it on our YouTube channel and to show it on this website, credited to your in-game name. Clips on YouTube are also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service, and you agree to them when you upload. To have a published clip taken down, open a ticket on our Discord.

Supporter purchases

Supporter perks are cosmetic: they change how you look and what you can show, never how strong you are in a game. Payments go through Stripe. A purchase gives you the perks for the time shown when you buy. If a server or perk is changed or removed, we try to give you an equal perk in its place. For a problem with a purchase, open a ticket on our Discord.

No guarantees

We run the servers and the site as they are, with no promise that they are always online or free of mistakes, and we are not responsible for lost stats, items or progress. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law as a consumer.

Changes

If these terms change, we update the date at the top and announce big changes on our Discord. Questions: open a ticket on our Discord.
