How 1v1 Arena works
The map is split into many small arenas and every arena holds one duel. After each round the ladder is rebuilt: the winner moves up an arena and the loser moves down.
The default round is a rifle duel. You can set which kinds of round you prefer: rifle, sniper, SMG, LMG, shotgun or pistol. A knife is always in your hands, and a round cannot end in a draw.
The server runs a pool of arena maps, each with many arenas.
How to get a 1v1 Arena game going
The 1v1 Arena server sleeps until somebody schedules a game. Pick 1v1 Arena and a time on the Fill to Play page; the game is posted on our Discord, people say they are in, and the server starts ten minutes before. Games already scheduled here are listed near the top of this page.

Questions
Why is the 1v1 Arena server offline?
It is an on-demand server. It runs when a Fill to Play game is scheduled on it and sleeps the rest of the time. Schedule a game on the Fill to Play page and it starts ten minutes before.
What is the 1v1 Arena server IP, and how do I join?
The server address is eu.yappershq.com:27024. When a game is running a Join button shows on this page; you can also open the CS2 console and type: connect eu.yappershq.com:27024.
Do I need to download maps or mods first?
No. The arena maps come from the Steam Workshop and CS2 downloads the current one by itself while you connect.
How many players fit on the server?
32 slots. The live player count and the current map are shown at the top of this page.
Who do I fight next?
After each round the ladder is rebuilt: the winner moves up an arena and the loser moves down.
Can I choose the weapons?
You set which kinds of round you prefer: rifle, sniper, SMG, LMG, shotgun or pistol. The default is a rifle duel.
Is it free to play?
Yes, playing is free. Donating is optional: it goes into growing the community and gets you Active Supporter status.
Is 1v1 Arena a workshop map I have to download and host?
No. It is a server that is already running: you join it in one click or by its IP and play with whoever is on. There is nothing to host, no port forwarding and no "unable to establish connection" with friends.
