CS2 Public server Public
Casual rules on the competitive maps, up to 16 vs 16. Drop in and leave whenever, no full match required. An English-speaking CS2 Public server in the EU, free to join.
On the server now
This server is asleep. It starts when a Fill to Play is called on it.
How Public works
Public is casual Counter-Strike 2 on the classic bomb and hostage maps, with more players than a 5v5 match. Join when you like and leave when you like: nobody is waiting on you to finish a match.
Rounds last just under two minutes, 24 rounds per map with a half-time side swap, and you buy as usual. From the third round supporters can also pick their guns from a weapon menu, everything except the Negev.
Teams are balanced by skill automatically, and the server keeps its own rank for every player.
How to get a Public game going
The Public server sleeps until somebody schedules a game. Pick Public and a time on the Fill to Play page; the game is posted on our Discord, people say they are in, and the server starts ten minutes before. Games already scheduled here are listed near the top of this page.
Map pool
11 maps in rotation on the Public server. They download by themselves when you join.

- Mirage
- Inferno
- Nuke
- Overpass

Questions
Why is the Public server offline?
It is an on-demand server. It runs when a Fill to Play game is scheduled on it and sleeps the rest of the time. Schedule a game on the Fill to Play page and it starts ten minutes before.
What is the Public server IP, and how do I join?
The server address is eu.yappershq.com:27018. When a game is running a Join button shows on this page; you can also open the CS2 console and type: connect eu.yappershq.com:27018.
Do I need to download maps or mods first?
No. Public runs the classic bomb and hostage maps that come with CS2.
How many players fit on the server?
32 slots. The live player count and the current map are shown at the top of this page.
Do I have to stay for a whole match?
No. Join when you like and leave when you like; teams are balanced by skill automatically.
What do supporters get here?
From the third round, a weapon menu with everything except the Negev.
Is it free to play?
Yes, playing is free. Donating is optional: it goes into growing the community and gets you Active Supporter status.
Is Public a workshop map I have to download and host?
No. It is a server that is already running: you join it in one click or by its IP and play with whoever is on. There is nothing to host, no port forwarding and no "unable to establish connection" with friends.
I was banned. What now?
Every ban is on the public ban list with its reason and length. The ban list page explains how to appeal.
